"Critical Vulnerability For This Build"
Version: Adobe Flash Player 10.2
Pros
Please read the Bottom-line summary for details. This comes from Adobe.
Cons
Same applies. See the Bottom-line summary.
Summary
A critical vulnerability exists in Adobe Flash Player 10.2.152.33 and earlier versions (Adobe Flash Player 10.2.154.18 and earlier for Chrome users) for Windows, Macintosh, Linux and Solaris operating systems, Adobe Flash Player 10.1.106.16 and earlier versions for Android, and the Authplay.dll component that ships with Adobe Reader and Acrobat X (10.0.1) and earlier 10.x and 9.x versions of Reader and Acrobat for Windows and Macintosh operating systems.
This vulnerability (CVE-2011-0609) could cause a crash and potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system. There are reports that this vulnerability is being exploited in the wild in targeted attacks via a Flash (.swf) file embedded in a Microsoft Excel (.xls) file delivered as an email attachment. At this time, Adobe is not aware of attacks targeting Adobe Reader and Acrobat. Adobe Reader X Protected Mode mitigations would prevent an exploit of this kind from executing.
We are in the process of finalizing a fix for the issue and expect to make available an update for Flash Player 10.x and earlier versions for Windows, Macintosh, Linux, Solaris, and an update for Adobe Acrobat X (10.0.1) and earlier 10.x and 9.x versions for Windows and Macintosh, Adobe Reader X (10.0.1) for Macintosh, and Adobe Reader 9.4.2 and earlier 9.x versions during the week of March 21, 2011. Adobe Flash Player for Android users can update to Flash Player 10.2.156.12, available through the Android marketplace. Google Chrome users can update to Chrome version 10.0.648.134 or later. To verify your current Chrome version number and update if necessary, follow the instructions here:http://www.google.com/support/chrome/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=95414. Because Adobe Reader X Protected Mode would prevent an exploit of this kind from executing, we are currently planning to address this issue in Adobe Reader X for Windows with the next quarterly security update for Adobe Reader, currently scheduled for June 14, 2011. -

"Don't get this one yet."
Version: Adobe Flash Player 10.2
Pros
Doesn't break all sites using flash... is that really a pro?
Cons
Will not work with youtube, at least not on my computer.
Summary
I'm running Windows 7. This version does not work for YouTube in Firefox, IE, or Chrome, though strangely it still works in Opera...maybe a different install.
Forgot to mention... I went back to version 10.1 and everything works, so, if you run into trouble, revert back to an earlier version. I got 10.1 here: http://www.oldapps.com/flash_player.php

"It's hard to put it into words without using profanity."
Version: Adobe Flash Player 10.2
Pros
There are none.
Cons
It refuses to work no matter how many times I download it.
Summary
Every page that needs it nags me to download it. It's almost as if somebody gets paid based on the number of downloads. I hate it with a passion. I wish there were some way to give it zero or even negative stars. I am willing to retract my opinion if somebody can tell me how to make it work. Please do not refer me to the support site because it was no help at all. If I'm just stupid, tell me, and I will be grateful as long as you give some me helpful advice on how to make the $#@*& thing work.

"Will not work with IE9"
Version: Adobe Flash Player 10.2
Pros
None, will download but not open!
Cons
Why not fix most of the bugs prior to release?
Summary
If you have an older flash player that works, keep it. Do not download this so called update, if you do good luck trying to get it to work.

"Flash 10.2 Breaks the Sirius/XM Online Player"
Version: Adobe Flash Player 10.2
Pros
There are no pros so far for the consumer, perhaps for developers.
Cons
Because Adobe only cares about Adobe, their new versions often break things that worked in previous versions. In this case, this version breaks the Sirius/XM online player.
