"Controls not reliable, can't identify video sources"

    July 23, 2014  |   By Bill_Levinson

    Version: Adobe Flash Player 14.0.0.145

    Pros

    Plays interactive content; probably indispensable

    Cons

Does not always respond to user commands.

Right-clicking does not identify the source of unwanted content, which means unwanted content cannot be banned with parental or similar controls. Business IT departments may similarly be unable to ban unwanted video sources.

    Summary

The problems show a relatively low level of pride in Adobe's workmanship. Even though this product is free, it does reflect on the company.

"Adobe needs to allow access for Kindle Fire!"

    May 28, 2014  |   By Christiangirl177

    Version: Adobe Flash Player 13.0.0.214

    Pros

None that I could think of!

    Cons

Not available for the Kindle Fire system nor the Android based tablets! Adobe needs to allow us to have access to their Flash Player. I am very disappointed with this company right now! I really don't have anything positive to say about Adobe right now. Hopefully, they'll rectify this situation.

    Summary

Adobe needs to see what people are saying about their product, not that it would matter to them.

"BEWARE & CAREFUL or Adobe Flash will install Chrome and"

    May 1, 2014  |   By musicman4you

    Version: Adobe Flash Player 13.0.0.206

    Pros

None but you need it for sites like YouTube

    Cons

BEWARE & be CAREFUL or Adobe Flash update will install Chrome and Mcafee Scanner on your compter.I found out the hard way last night. This is not Comodo icedragons fault but when it told me to update the newest Flash from Adobe I did on the page it gave me and I seen it installing Google Chrome.I closed it down before it could install. Then I tried again and it installed the Mcafee Security Scanner on my PC so fast I couldn't stop it.I had to clean a lot of crap off of my PC thanks to Adobe Flash and there new tricky programs they add.If you update Flash you better look real close on that page so you don't get Chrome and Mcafee.Adobe has stooped to a new low with the sneaky, dirty little tactics to install Chrome and Mcafee on your computer.

    Summary

I seen on google were IT professionals and people that work on computers also didn't see the well hidden options of other programs now in Adobe Flash. It put the Mcafee Scanner in C:\DOCUME~1\MyName\LOCALS~1\Temp\ContentDATs.exe So I just took all night and removed the Mcafee stuff from hidden Folders & other places on my PC.Icedragon had many left overs also that registry cleaners could not find. Many including Mcafee were in hidden folders and files.I had to go through the computer and clean all of this stuff up myself and from Registry. There is even a YouTube video showing how Adobe installs this with the Flash Update.Just google Adobe Flash adds Chrome and Mcafee.I don't trust Adobe and use another PDF reader instead of the Adobe one.Be careful upgrading Flash.

    "Dead on arrival"

    April 15, 2014  |   By shineola77

    Version: Adobe Flash Player 2.0

    Pros

Cannot find a single good thing to say

    Cons

Does not work with MAC X with /firefox, not eevn a little bit

    Summary

Adobe notified me that there was an upgrade to my flash player available and since flash seemed to be slowing my on line life, I opted for it and then my child wanted to see her Frozen song on You tube and I got the old error message and the query about reporting it to presumably Adobe which is about as much use as reporting injustice to the Justice department.
I shall be happy when flash falls into the dustbin of history along with Stacker, the Bournolli Box and the Osborn 64

    "Does nothing but crash"

    March 31, 2014  |   By nmweatherman

    Version: Adobe Flash Player 12.0.0.77

    Pros

    None whatsoever

    Cons

Doesn't work with my browser at all

    Summary

I am running XP Pro with a Chrome browser and this software does not work at all with Chrome. Almost instantly I get messages that it has crashed or is unresponsive. I've given it four trials but now its history. It is simply incompatible with Chrome I guess. Plus when it's crashing it freezes up my web pages. Nothing but trouble.

    "Crashing for weeks"

    March 29, 2014  |   By essaadams

    Version: Adobe Flash Player 12.0.0.77

    Pros

A fix would be a pro. An update would be a pro. But nothing to fix this issue is a con all the way.

    Cons

Crashing - and the box that freezes me from working - well h*^# I know it crashed, now leave me alone to work. Who thought of this version? I have had professional support techs on / in my computer for hours on end to uninstall, reinstall, repair, re-register, and do all their tricks and it is the same. So I just reinstall myself. Any thing can crash it. Going to a recipe site, to Facebook, to my work site, to my own website where there isn't even a slideshow or flash in use. And NOW it is bringing in the email message I may be writing so I have to get that out of the way too. Sometimes I have to click it out of the way 2 times or 25 times. Reinstall and may get an hour or 10 hours or 10 minutes. Fix it! I use Firefox. Techs also set me up for Chrome in case, but I have no interest and it crashes there anyway.

    Summary

Fix it!. They need to fix it.

"Latest version started crashing and freezing browser."

    March 19, 2014  |   By tembuktoo

    Version: Adobe Flash Player 12.0.0.77

    Pros

The past two updates before the March 11th version worked fine.

    Cons

Latest version of software dated March 11th started crashing and freezing the browser today(March 19th). Seems like the programmers intentionally program issues into the software so they will have job security.

    Summary

As soon as someone somewhere comes up with ANY alternative to this software I am dumping it immediately.

"Version 12 fails. To load, install, or run."

    February 8, 2014  |   By pyotr576

    Version: Adobe Flash Player 12.0.0.44

    Pros

    It is free.

    Cons

It does not install - the "installer" program deletes itself, does something, but it does not install. Not to Firefox.

I give it one star because I cannot not give it zero.

    Summary

how many times do I have to download and install Flash 12 before it actually installs and works in Firefox?

    Version: Adobe Flash Player 12.0.0.43

    Pros

Nothing but annoying updates and junks

    Cons

Nothing but annoying web site to force its users to install Adobe apps. Then Adobe installed McAfee in your computers. Users ends up with nothing with junks.

    Summary

We highly recommend not to visit any web sites using proprietary technology or platform like Adobe.
Users end up with nothing but junks in their computers.
