Version: Adobe Acrobat Professional 9
"No video without Extended"
Pros: It makes pdfs
Cons: It won't allow for embedding video, like Acrobat 8, unless you spend $230 for Extended, and, from what I've seen, Extended works with Windows but not Mac. (This is hard to believe though - it's gotta be out there somewhere.)
Summary: I got Acrobat 9 when I bought CS4 Design Suite, and when I went so embed video I got no sound. I spent many hours trying to figure out what the problem was, after all, I was able to embed vids in 8. And, the inclusion of the 'multimedia' button implies that it's possible. It wasn't till after much wasted time that I discovered that you've gotta put out another good chunk of money for the feature.
