AddPDF specifications

What's new in version 1.0.7

Version 1.0.7:
  • A new option has been added to Preferences named "Convert Files In Place." Select this option to create PDF file auto-conversions of images, RTFD, RTF, plain text, web archives, and mail messages (eml) files in the same folder as the original. Otherwise they will be created in a temporary files folder, to be deleted automatically. This option is ON by default.

  • The filenames of autoconverted PDF's retain the original image extensions in the filename of the generated PDF (which will have extension "pdf")

  • A new "spinner" activity monitor is displayed when auto-conversions of image and RTF text files is in progress.

  • When "Convert Files In Place" is OFF converted files by the same name are replaced, otherwise files by the same name are not replaced, and the existing ODF file is used.

Version 1.0.6:
  • Enhanced the automatic file conversions to include such types as RTFD, RTF, plain text, web archives, mail messages (eml). QuickLook previews of files are created when other conversions are not possible (on Mac OS 10.5 and above.) Automatic file conversion of images was introduced in version 1.0.4.

  • Extended the file types you can select for the list and stamp, and those that you can drop into the file list, in order to support the enhanced automatic file conversion.
