Pros
Ad block is good tool for Firefox if you want to block banner ads and other types of ads.Add filters and block the content you don't want to see.It does a good job and it sure makes Firefox safer.
Cons
You can sometimes get lost and it's not user friendly.Try super ad block it has more features and it's a lot more secure than this.

It's supposed to be FREEWARE. 15 days is NOT freeware, people!
-It has spyware scanner, tries to submit programs installed to their website
-it wants to be a full spyware package, not just an ad blocker like advertised.

Pros
Adblock simply blocks pop-up windows so that you can feel more secure. You can of course allow the pop-ups you wish. Use adblock with NoScript and you won't get any Malware while using Firefox.
