"Not a good direction to take"
Version: Adblock Pro (32-bit) 3.6
Pros
You can choose not to install it
Cons
There are better programs out there provided by more scrupulous organisations
Summary
Originally built as a parasitic product living off Adblock Plus' reputation (which is a great Firefox add on, not IE, with a good solid reputation) this 'tool' has a very chequered history. Strongly suggest you look at wider reports on the web to get a decent picture of what your options are on IE before making up your mind. I'm looking for a route from Firefox to IE and Adblock Plus is a key feature I need a replacement for. Based on my research so far, this will not be it. Surprised by the 5* CNet editor rating. IMO and YMMV.

"I'm in the trial period and I probably won't buy it."
Version: Adblock Pro (32-bit) 3.6
Pros
It does block some of the popups.
Cons
It doesn't block some particulary annoying popups like: AD.Doubleclick.net and SO.MDN.net. I've emailed their support group twice but they will not respond. And their help tab on the dropdown menu results in an error screen. Doesn't look like a reputable company to me.
Summary
Look for something better, I am.

"Ad-Block is a scam. No license key is ever provided."
Version: Adblock Pro (32-bit) 3.6
Pros
Worked well during trial period.
Cons
After the trial period I bought it---twice: once for home and once for my office. In NEITHER CASE did I ever receive a license key. And ever since I get their stupid popup message that the trial period has ended and would I please enter a product key. MULTIPLE EMAIL MESSAGES to them have gone unanswered. Even an email to C-NET does not help. Nobody really gives a hoot.
Summary
Bottom line: They take your money and never provide a key, which means they've scammed you for the price of purchase. In my case, twice.

"Didn't work for me"
Version: Adblock Pro (32-bit) 3.6
Pros
Easy to install and uninstall.
Cons
Using IE9 on Windows 7 64bit. Product did not work for me on this system.
Summary
Can't say that this program is worth it as it didn't work for me. YMMV.

"Product works as advertized"
Version: Adblock Pro (32-bit) 3.6
Pros
Have run the last two versions and have found it to block almost all ads. Am running it in IE8 and Chrome. Have gotten licenses promptly purchasing with both Paypal and credit card.
Cons
You will learn that on some sites you have to disable it as some logon boxes and other needed pop-ups are blocked.
Summary
Good software.
