Summary
I have read a few negative reveiws of this program and they all seem to be missing the vital ingredient in their complaints. Firstly, the program only freezes if you have numerous applications operating at the same time - close down all windows! Secondly, Ad-aware WILL catch everything it is intended to - however if it doesn't, go into SAFE MODE and run it then - also most melicious adware will hide themselves, I suggest unhiding all files and file extensions before scanning. Works like a treat - if you know what your doing...

This program is a must have in the war agst. malware. I use it in conjunction with Spywareblaster & Spybot (although AdAware will find the "back-ups"). Easy to use & configure. One can back-up the items it finds by types (right click the mouse). The back-up feature is a must-have. A+
