    "Really useful"

    March 17, 2012  |   By DDfromDD

Version: Ad-Aware Free Internet Security 9.6

    Pros

Clearly tells me the errors found and clears them. Nice scheduling application.

    Cons

Though it clears the errors found after a scan it goes back to the beginning so I'm not sure if I should scan again.

    Summary

Worth the money. I'm glad I bought it.

    "It need to be better."

    March 14, 2012  |   By The1980

Version: Ad-Aware Free Internet Security 9.6

    Pros

    Free and free.

    Cons

    Slowed down my pc.
Security toolbar had an annoying auto-inserting function to its searchbox with the clipboard.
    Uninstaller failed every time.

    Summary

I was dissappointed. Right after install, my system became a little retarded. I thought, no problem I can live with it but when I opened the settings I found out most of the functions were disabled and only process protection was running because IObit malware fighter was running. So I decided to uninstall it. The uninstaller couldn't find its own uninstall files, I had to browse the forum to figure out how to remove it so it requires a third party program to remove it. Once I removed it and replaced it with avira my system became twice as fast. Basically, it needs to be better.

    "Nice one!!"

    March 13, 2012  |   By 6969Robert6969

Version: Ad-Aware Free Internet Security 9.6

    Pros

This caught about 43 malware and adware and now my computer is much faster than before

    Cons

-Awe man! you have to pay for full screen mode? Oh and the scheduler is kind of confusing too.
-Note on full adaware version. trialpay survey doesn't work very well. I downloaded the program it told me to download but the survey checker says I still hadn't completed it yet.

    Summary

adaware free is good enough. just trying to get adaware pro causes headaches. But adaware free was really good caught a lot of stuff!

    "Thorough. Would definitely recommend."

Version: Ad-Aware Free Internet Security 9.6

    Pros

Found malware that other programs had missed.

    Cons

Slows down computer if all the screening options are set to "on". I unchecked those and will just run "quick scan" often. I am already running Avast Antivirus, Wise Disk Cleaner, and Wise Registry Cleaner.
