    December 12, 2012  |   By davidhunter22

    Version: Ad-Aware Free Antivirus + 10

    Pros

    Your joking

    Cons

I would rather install malware by hand than this. I've tries on a few machine they all become unusable, with random hangs and terrible performance.

"v.9.6 is Great v.10 slowd my system I had to uninstall."

    September 5, 2012  |   By standingal1

    Version: Ad-Aware Free Antivirus + 10

    Pros

Previous versions of Ad-Aware Free, have always helped keep my hubby's PC notebook system working smoothly, it's a dell with windows 7 and that is up to.. version 9.6. I've got a HP notebook with Vista and Ad-Aware Free version 9.6 and it works great! thanks Lavasoft!

    Cons

But, when hubby updated to version 10, his dell PC notebook immediately after, kept freezing up and was unusable, until I uninstalled the latest version. I'm going to try to download version 9.6, if possible. I'm also getting update popups but I'm hesitant to update to version 10 on my HP notebook with Vista; I don't want the same problem and I don't know if I'll be able to go back to 9.6. It may be a memory issue I don't know but mine works with this earlier version and I don't want to play with that. Hopefully, I can put a working version back on my hubby's dell.

"New AdAware will kill your computer"

    June 9, 2012  |   By jbentz

    Version: Ad-Aware Free Antivirus + 10

    Pros

    Nothing good about this version.

    Cons

Same as other review, installed, and couldn't figure out what happened to my computer. Every mouse click literally took about 15-20 min to respond. System basically locked up. Almost ended reinstalling windows, though I had some real bad virus or trojan. Then I uninstalled Ad Aware, everything back to normal.

    Summary

Absolutely do NOT update to new Ad-Aware Antivirus!!!!!!!!

    Version: Ad-Aware Free Antivirus + 10

    Pros

Easy setup, I liked the new look.

    Cons

the next day, after install, it said expired. It wanted me to buy the paid version.

    Summary

I wanted a longer trial period, I don't know how it works. I like the old Ad-aware, without antivirus it was flawless.

"EASY , EASY, EASY AND FREE"

    April 12, 2012  |   By Coconutdata

    Version: Ad-Aware Free Antivirus + 10

    Pros

    >easy to navigate
    >easy to update
    >no hard settings
    >launches early
    >Great detection

    Cons

Minor obstacle but there isn't a scanning option when right clicking on the taskbar icon when Ad-Aware is minimized

    Summary

nice new version. kinda cool that when you download the free version, you get a fully unlocked premium version with all the features for the first 30 days. After the 30 days expires, the premium version just reverts back to the free one. Makes me want to buy it just so I can keep all the cool premium features lol :-p
