    Pros

Keeps my computer healthy and properly tuned. Free for life, not like those one that are only free for 30 days or the ones that force upgrade notifications 24.7. It protects my computer well and offers powerful tools for security.

Performance on this was very impressive and results were concrete. Ad Aware is the clear winner in the antivirus war because it has managed to do whwat so many others have failed to do. It kept my computer protected despite an onslaught of viruses that threatened to wipe my hard drive clean. Luckily, I Ad Aware was there to help ensure my protection.

"Looks great and works even better"

    December 17, 2014  |   By boltedscent

    Version: Ad-Aware Free Antivirus + 11.4.6792.0

    Pros

No issues with the download or installation. To make sure the installation went smoothly, I deactivated my built in windows firewall. I then reactivated after the installation completed. Ad Aware options are v ery easy to configure, for example, I can schedule scans to whatever time of day I want.

    Cons

Not a problem with ad aware but I hate the cnet downloader

    Summary

    Ad Aware is worth trying

    Version: Ad-Aware Free Antivirus + 11.4.6792.0

    Pros

Installed this on every one of my family member's computers and saved a lot of money. It's simple enough for every one of them to use and good enough that I never need to worry about their computers getting infected with a bad virus.

    Cons

    Updates can be lengthy

"Wasn't able to find a better free antivirus"

    December 17, 2014  |   By NinjaNeo

    Version: Ad-Aware Free Antivirus + 11.4.6792.0

    Pros

Tried em all, from Avast and AVG to Panda and Avira, they all had one thing in common:They brought my system to a slow crawl to the point where it became unbearable to multitask while running a scan or updating. Ad Aware is the only I've ever tried that actually reduced the load on my processing power and ram even while it was in use.

    Cons

    No cons to mention

    Summary

Reduced pop ups and blocked all viruses
