"So far so good. works well."
Version: Ad-Aware Free Antivirus + 10.1.211.3382
Pros
Ad-Aware the free Edition is almost too good to be true.
Cons
Nothing to say.
Summary
Without Ad-Aware, your virus protection is incomplete. Keep going Ad-Aware.

"Not What I Wanted"
Version: Ad-Aware Free Antivirus + 10.1.211.3382
Pros
The software is easy to load.
Cons
The software requires me to uninstall my existing antivirus protection.
Summary
Although I decided not to use Ad-Aware, the link is still somewhere on my hard drive and keeps popping up whenever I use Internet Explorer.

"Incompatible - Had To Uninstall !"
Version: Ad-Aware Free Antivirus + 10.1.211.3382
Pros
'Worked fine the first night with an easy install and no incompatibility warnings.I like the new UI and found it easy to use.Scan speeds are fairly quick for the short scan and quite long for the full scan.
Cons
When I booted up the next day all Hell broke loose and it crashed my system. I disconnected from the web to uninstall it in case of a firewall or updating issue and all is well again.
Summary
I don't know what it fights with - I currently use avast! free and the Comodo Firewall (which I disabled right before installing the program and re-enabled afterwards which could account for a lack of warning), but it's clearly not compatible with my system. (whereas, the old version was.) Also, people should understand that they are downloading a trial-version of the paid program, which includes a firewall as part of the feature-set.

"Impressive antivirus!"
Version: Ad-Aware Free Antivirus + 10.1.211.3382

For now I can not say anything but it is the best in this world. UFO also will be pleased to add it in their spatial ships.
Cons
The only problem that I would like to see go away, is to pay after 30 days for the proversion. I'm not a pro, then...
Summary
Because is no perfect system in the world I'll just give it today 4.5 stars but im not sure how to give the 0.5, then let's go for 5.

"Kept freezing my computer and I go the BLUE screen."
Version: Ad-Aware Free Antivirus + 10.1.211.3382
Pros
I never got to see the pros. I uninstalled it.
Cons
I froze my computer. It is incompatable with AVG. The message said my Ad Aware was out of date and I needed to install the free upgrade. It then installed a free TRIAL. This was misleading and was not what I wanted. I uninstalled it after getting the BLUE screen of death. I want my old Ad Aware back, but it seems that this is not possible. I feel deceived and violated!
Summary
This new company seems to think that it should change Ad Aware and it seems to sneak this in on those that are not complete computer geeks. I am a nerd, but cant keep up with every corporate change in the computer world. I would rather err on the side of caution. The add for McAfee seems to infer that the new company is somehow related to this company and I HATE McAfee and Norton for the same reason I uninstalled this. That's why I use AVG.
