    "Excellent Security Suite from AdAware"

    November 1, 2014  |   By BaristaStar4Bucks

    Version: Ad-Aware Free Antivirus + 11.4.6792.0

    Pros

Excellent protection again viruses, spyware, trojans, hackers and adware. AdAware's new version protects my desktop from virtually any unnecessary prompts and downloads. Independent tests also prove AdAware is among the best in protection and security.

    Cons

If you don't like it, than uninstall. Nothing to lose.

    Summary

If you want simplicity without compromising on security, than I would highly recommend AdAware

"Ad Aware never lets you down"

    November 1, 2014  |   By MiamiCollins2

    Version: Ad-Aware Free Antivirus + 11.4.6792.0

    Pros

Unable to think of anything better for my computer's overall health than Ad Aware. Tried them all oevr the years; AVG, Macafee, Windows Defender, Malwarebytes, etc... But haven't seen anything outperform Ad Aware in ability to identify and remove malware.

    Cons

    Nothing at all, no cons

"Back on the Ad Aware bus!"

    November 1, 2014  |   By FlowinBeats

    Version: Ad-Aware Free Antivirus + 11.4.6792.0

    Pros

For years I was u sing ad aware but towards version 7 and 8 they kinda degraded the quality of the antivirus. This new version is killer though! Such a difference between this one and all the others. I love how much faster Ad Aware got and they completely redesigned everything from top to bottom to make it even easier to use. Took no time to learn and has kept me up to date on any new online and offline threats that try to breach my computer.

    Cons

The only thing I would like to improve is the scan time on drives as large as 1 TB

    Summary

This new version of Ad Aware is really impressive and worth another shot

"Unrivaled when it comes to Internet Security"

    November 1, 2014  |   By ClooneyClown

    Version: Ad-Aware Free Antivirus + 11.4.6792.0

    Pros

Ok so normally, I don't just do what people recommend, but I changed my ways when I started reading about Ad Aware. Only took me a few days to really understand why so many have recommended it. Forget the studies that show Ad Aware scores in the top percent at virus detection and removal, let's just focus on what a joy it is to use. For starters, it's simple, free and a breeze to use. Its used and relied on by many computer networking professionals who have tested this so that's enough of a recommendation for me.

    Cons

Wouldn't trust anything else as much as I do Ad Aware.

"Security is on point with Ad Aware"

    November 1, 2014  |   By BurnsBabyBurns

    Version: Ad-Aware Free Antivirus + 11.4.6792.0

    Pros

Been about a year that i've been testing Ad Aware and seeing how it holds up against the most suspicious of sites and file infections. So far it hasn't been stumped and has managed to be more resilient than all other free antivirus applications. It's perfect for any user (I'd say I'm an intermediate user) not intimidating or intrusive. The layout is nice and simple and not to cumbersome.

    Cons

    Nothing too serious

    Summary

Makes me feel more at ease knowing I can count on Ad Aware.

"Ad Aware has grown on me"

    October 31, 2014  |   By Kittens-Claws

    Version: Ad-Aware Free Antivirus + 11.4.6792.0

    Pros

Norton really needs to learn from Ad Aware and offer free protection that works and actually blocks all malware. All these paid antiviruses just end up taxing your computer's resources and slow everything down. Immediatenly noticeable difference between my experience using Ad Aware and my experience using Norton. Considering I paid for Norton and downloaded Ad Aware for free, Norton should have out performed Ad Aware but it didn't. I ended up uninstalling Norton and just kept Ad Aware. Best decision I've made.

    Cons

Download time but I have a slow connection (live in a rural area)

    Summary

Don't see myself switching from Ad Aware any time soon.

"Computer is off limits to viruses"

    October 31, 2014  |   By CruisingHonolulu

    Version: Ad-Aware Free Antivirus + 11.4.6792.0

    Pros

My wife keeps downloading viruses almost every time she uses the computer. I get pop ups, my browser takes forever to load sites and my computer runs tasks at minimal speed - the list of symptoms goes on. After a few weeks of this, I finally decided to get a free antivirus program, I opted for Ad Aware based on my cousin's recommendation ( he had the same issues as me before he download Ad Aware). The decision to get Ad Aware proved extremely effective and promising and has offered consistent protection whether I or my wife use the computer. No more viruses!

    Cons

No more viruses, ad aware has prove itself very effective.

    Summary

No more viruses, ad aware has prove itself very effective.

    "It's like magic!"

    October 31, 2014  |   By LouderVolume11

    Version: Ad-Aware Free Antivirus + 11.4.6792.0

    Pros

Skeptical at first, but quickly started loving ad aware after it managed to destroy any traces of a virus that caused some serious havoc on my PC for months. Within minutes I removed any threats that were lurking around... never thought it was it would be that easy! Ad Aware program is uncomplicated right through setup and usage, it has a slick looking interface and top tier protection for all those nasty viruses.

    Cons

Would have made this available on windows mobile

    "Computer supported by Ad Aware"

    October 31, 2014  |   By Toxicccx

    Version: Ad-Aware Free Antivirus + 11.4.6792.0

    Pros

It's like Ad Aware is my laptop's personal body guard that I have come to rely on with every passing day. My hard drive and my Windows operating system are completely on lock down and have never even seen an infection make it in. All this, and I have yet to spend a penny or scoure the internet to find out how to use Ad Aware.

    Cons

No bugs, just stress free state of mind

    Summary

    Always my first choice
