I had the paid version back in 2005 and their customer support was terrible. Never bothered with them since until I decided to test this new version on my XP machine. It is only good at removing cookies, but when it comes to finding and removing malware you need to look elsewhere, because this program just doesn't cut it.

It worked great before , until the was a wipe out, had use recovery CDs, reload softwares again, now while it finishes the scan, and finds a ton of stuff, it cant clean but one or two files, after which it gives an error message for being unable to complete the task. I am a bit frustrated.

the new ad-aware is confusing at best and error prone at worse. i have tried it on two different computers xp and same problems persist. plus it has a confusing menu. I went back to good old reliable ad-ware previous to this one. Even the editor has his misgivings yet persists on rating it highly

I don't like editors who give this product a good review and high rating. As we can see numerous people have many complaints.
