Pros: None!
Cons: I'ts bad when a new version of an app is released thats poor in comparison to the old version. AdAware SE runs great on Vista and this garbage doesn't. This has to be a joke! Its slow and heave and detects nothing on XP so why would anyone bother? Because they are idiots.

Pros: i think this version still good... not so big different with ad-Aware Se...
Cons: at the first... i feel this is better... but after that, i feel ad-aware Se is better.. other people that leave a common here is right... lavasoft try to fix something that is good, but lavasoft faile to do so... especially at the update manager part... if u use web update, it work... but if u have to use update maneger... oh that the problem... u cannot change to other window when it is downloading update... if u do so, the update maneger will not respond and freeze there... but if u let it open and not change page... there still a problem... it take long to download update... why? the updsate manager wiull download the update for ad-watch also... but in case... your version is free version... but u still have to downloud something useless to you...

"Why did you do it "Lavasoft"?"
Pros: Why did "Lavasoft" try to fix something that wasn't broke? There are no pros to this software. "AdAware SE" is much better. Stick with it if you have the installer. If you didn't and can't find lt. Drop me en email address and I will be happy to send you a copy. This editors 5 star review shows bias towards this company. "AdAware 2007", your out a here!
Cons: Why did "Lavasoft" release a beta software? Why did they release an unstable app that crashes? Why did they release a slow, heavy anti spy app? Why is there no support for "Vista"? And better yet, why did this download.com editor BS us and give this poor software a 5 star rating? Because the download editor blew his or her review. Because "Lavasoft" tried to fix something that wasn't broke and in doing so, lost my respect.

Version: Ad-Aware 2007 7.0.1.5
Pros: Previous versions were uninstalled because they crashed my Vista computer. 7.0.1.4 was the first that didn't cause a crash, and 7.0.1.5 continues that good work. It lets you delete ad-ware and presistant cookies.
Cons: Real-time protection is off in the free version, so you have to scan manually.

Cons: What happened here..lavasoft used to be a 2.5 mb download.
