"Works well..Small price to pay for peace of mind"
Version: Active@ Hard Disk Monitor 2.0.2
Pros
Easy to install, user friendly interface, would recommend this to anyone.
Cons
Not free as stated but it is a small price to pay to know that all your hard drives are working as they should....Warning bleep become very annoying, no way to turn it off!!!!

"It is not freeware."
Version: Active@ Hard Disk Monitor 2.0.2
Pros
I don't know as I was unable to try it. When I installed and then immediately launched the program it said my trial period had expired!
Cons
I don't know as I was unable to try it. You should amend your description of the program as it's not freeware!
Summary
The details on your download link should be changed, as the program is not free. What I find annoying is that I uninstalled an older version, which was free, believing the description you gave the program, i.e.Freeware,
and cannot now get the free version I had previously. I emailed the program's publisher, but they did not bother to reply! -

"Free is not free when they ak for a product key"
Version: Active@ Hard Disk Monitor 2.0.2
Pros
What pros is it (NONE)
Cons

"Oposite to earlier Version NOT FREE"
Version: Active@ Hard Disk Monitor 2.0.2
Pros
Don´t know - did not work anylonger, but previous Version 1.xx was good
Cons
As soon as u update from 1.xx (free) to 2.xx the Programm will not work anylonger unless you pay for it. Especially anoying ist, that you will not be able to go back to the previous version.
Summary
If you run a free Version 1.xx be happy and keep it.
It´s a shame, that cnet announces the current version as free. Perhaps it may work (a limitet time?) if you have no previous versions installed, but even a deinstalled previous version kills the version 2.xx -
"Don't update your free version with this one"
Version: Active@ Hard Disk Monitor 2.0.2
Pros
The old version worked ok, don't know about this one.
Cons
Change from free to trial use not well disclosed.
Summary
I updated v1.5 (free version) with v2.0 and got a message that I needed to pay to use the product. If you want to charge for something, disclose it before you wipe out the free version. I installed another program that's freeware, compact and works better for my needs.
