Version: Active@ File Recovery 7.1 build 301
Pros: So far, no issues. Payment was easy, and it seems to be working up to expectations. It is worth the money ^_^
Cons: It isn't free. You also can't tell it to save a whole drive, you have to do each folder or file individualy. It takes a long time to find files, but that is expected.

Version: Active@ File Recovery 7.1 build 301
Pros: A couple of days ago I had to reformat my hard drive and re-install Windows. Unfortunately I'd completely forgotten to backup up my entire collection of photographs which were stored on my D partition. That's about 5 years of birthdays, family events, parties, family visits, even little things like pictures of our new puppy and days out at the zoo. The lot, gone.
I tried several other programs and none of them managed to find my photos.
One go with the demo version of Active@ and it found my entire D partition, untouched and undamaged.
Yes I had to pay $29.95 to recover the files, which is about £15 there or thereabouts. Was it worth it? Most definitely.
Cons: I can't say a bad word against it. I didn't even need to read the help documentation before using it. It was so easy.

Version: Active@ File Recovery 7.1 build 301
Pros: Seems to recover but you have to pay.
Cons: Why do these programs cost so much? No free trial? How can I get my data back for free? Why doesn't microshaft include these types of programs?
