  "Poor UI, image restore fails on large GPT-type disks."

  Pros

  Good backup performance, ability to restore files & folders from image backup.

  Cons

  Redesigned interface with version 2011. It is incredibly bad: cumbersome, slow, non-intuitive, etc. If you have large disks you must purchase the separate Plus Pack. Image Restore still broken for large GPT-type disks.

  Summary

  Support is good and easy to reach. So what? It's the product that's bad (or become so the past few versions). I am inundated with Acronis survey forms -- only for their support group. Wake up Acronis!! Your support group isn't the problem -- the PRODUCT is the problem.
  
  I have used Acronis for years, and stuck with it version after version, hoping it will improve. I have spent countless hours on the phone and chat with their support, working on various problems. The 2011/2012 UI redesign was the last straw. I am giving up and switching to another product ASAP. I strongly advise everyone to thoroughly investigate the alternatives. I would say the 2011 redesign is the Microsoft Vista of backup programs, but it's much worse than that.
