    "Really easy-to-use!"

    August 25, 2006  |   By Waryom

Version: Acronis True Image 2015 9

    Pros

I am really amazed with a new True Image recovery feature - One-Click restore!

Now I can sleep sondly at nights and my clients will not disturb me with how-to questions. All they need to restore a backup is to click this options - no recovery wizards, no pazzles with destination and source drives.

I really appreciate this "housewife" option!

    "I give 5 out of 5 stars"

    August 25, 2006  |   By Nallya

Version: Acronis True Image 2015 9

    Pros

Just wanted to share my opinion on TI9 with all.

    About the most recent update:

This is by far the best product I've ever used. The quality is incredible. There seems to be no bug or disfunction. The added features are a blessing. I love the cloning and DVD-RW driver support.

About Tech Support: Both responses to my questions regarding my old copy of True Image 8.0 and my accounts on the Acronis web site were answered quickly with appropriate, helpful information. This is much better than the service I have experienced from other companies.

"Tried many times to do a back of full system . Never worked yet."

    August 24, 2006  |   By roachart

Version: Acronis True Image 2015 9

    Cons

Downloaded to try a full backup of system , which is really what we all desire. Never worked yet. IF IT HAD, WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE THAN HAPPY TO PAY FOR THE FULL PRODUCT.

"True Image is a Great work of Acronis Team"

    August 11, 2006  |   By LilySonic

Version: Acronis True Image 2015 9

    Pros

    I really like this software!

Today I was trying to recover a Win98 machine which didn't recognize its CD Rom in the BIOS or Device Manager, but True Image has enabled me to "pull a rabbit out of the hat" by making recovery diskettes from the True Image windows interface.

    Everything's back as it was.

Moreover, I have purchased all of Acronis products and am extremely satisfied with them. The latest True Image with bootable agent is fantastic. It's taken hours off

what used to be a painful reimage over changed hardware.

    Cons

    hmmmm

"Very flexible and stable backup solution + fully functional trial version"

    August 11, 2006  |   By Tatoshe

Version: Acronis True Image 2015 9

    Pros

Well, I have six days left on the evaluation. I am getting to like this product a lot. I really appreciate how they let you use it completely. There are no "nag" screens and no menus greyed out with a note that I am too cheap to pay up so I can't use the feature. I should be ordering True Image in the next day or two.

True Image allows you to create incremental and differential backups in addition to full backups. It allows you to vary periodicity and reccurence of your image archives. Thus, I am still planning the backup strategy.

    Cons

    Still have not found any

"Failed to register, so wouldn't install"

    August 7, 2006  |   By ThinkingFish

Version: Acronis True Image 2015 9

    Pros

    Wouldn't know.

    Cons

You have to register this software before you can install it, and registration failed. I then went to the Acronis website, registered there, and awaited instructions via email. By the next day, the instructions had not arrived, and I still couldn't register when trying to install. It appears they have a registration server that they don't run very well.

IMHO, registration should not be required unless you are buying the product. Given that it is required, then Acronis should do better with their server, or at least allow the software to install when registraion fails.

Based on this experience, which shows a poor combination of policy and implementation, I don't have much confidence in Acronis. I'm moving on.

    "Don't Believe the HYPE!!!"

    July 20, 2006  |   By buonin

Version: Acronis True Image 2015 9

    Pros

I liked all that I had read about it, but was thouroughly disappointed with it's performance.

    Cons

While it was simple to make an image of my system, it didn't work when I tried to restore the image. All the program told me was that the operation completed with errors. That's it. No details as to why. So one would assume that their personal data and programs are safely backedup, until they try to restore their system after a virus attack. When I contacted customer support via e-mail (the only free way to communicate w/ customer support, you must pay for phone support even though the sofware is $50) it took them almost three (3) days to reply to a simple e-mail and then the suggestions they gave me didn't even work. In sum, I am a computer science major and find this to be the only software utility that I have encountered to date that I cannot make work and which lacks sufficient or prompt customer support. It's experiences like this that lead me to understand why so many users would rather copy software or download cracks, rather than do the right thing. I cannot tell you why so many reviewers have commented positively about Acronis True Image Home 9.0. I almost believe that they are posted by the staff at Acronis to boost sales. Finally, you cannot even reister the software with the program. You must register on their web site. Only then will you find out if you actually have the latest version of the software and then download it. It's a waste of $50. Save your money, try Norton Ghost, or just backup your personal data with an external hard drive or burn it to DVDs.

    "speed and max compression"

    July 5, 2006  |   By ebaxp

Version: Acronis True Image 2015 9

    Pros

    Wide Options

    Cons

hello Peoples i know this program has high rating but my threshhold is different due to the old "Drive Image 2002" to me there are three basic things

    1) how much it can MAXIMUM compress the image file ?

    2) How much times it takes to to create an image (with max compression)?

3)how much time it takes to restore.

the only reason of moving from "Disk image 2002" to Acronis 9.0 is That Drive image 2002 does not support NTFS other wise i should not have bothered.

Acronis fail to compete drive image 2002 because it takes too much time still image is bigger than drive image 2002. whats the problem ? whats the solution have you tried "drive image" ?

    Thanks for comments in advance!

    "WOW!!!"

    June 30, 2006  |   By thicks70

Version: Acronis True Image 2015 9

    Pros

As an "old school" Ghost user, I didn't think anything would come close, but I was wrong. The GUI was easy and simple, and the wizard was the bomb! Acronis is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!

    Cons

    What's not to like?
