Yet another PDF password cracker with a draconian trial limitation, Acrobat Password Recovery Key appears to get the job done--though you'll need to pay the registration fee to be sure. Acrobat Password Recovery Key recovers lost or forgotten passwords using brute-force attacks or ones with Xieve optimization, which allows faster results by skipping password checks of nonsense combinations of characters. If you used a meaningful word as your password (for shame!), the dictionary-attack feature will probably turn it up in a jiff. If not, the program can pause and resume cracking so you don't have to keep your computer on while running a brute-force attack. All in all, Acrobat Password Recovery Key seems capable enough, though no more so than countless other programs.Publisher's Description

None at all.
Cons
Doesn't work. Tried to recover password from a pdf I've opened before and says its invalid file format.

None that I can find.
Cons
Buy-me ware. Doesn't do anything, says there is no password on a pdf file that I created myself(!) and reports the same for a known protected file. Worse, a re-install fails every time - downloads "install.exe" and then just goes away, never tries to start the app or anything.

Cons
It showed the message that the .pdf file I was trying to unlock had no password, but that's wrong since I can see the locks while reading it in Acrobat Reader. Useless to me.
