Version: Acoustica MP3 CD Burner 4.11 build 121
"Looked promising but didn't deliver for me!"
Pros: It had a very attractive user interface, much more professional than I expected. The whole look promised ease-of-use and it had helpful text box with instructions in most of the windows whwich means you wouldn't have to do a search in the manuals or online to know how to use the basic functions to make a disc. It can boost the volume of songs so that audio on the disc is consistent and fade out songs that it deemed "incomplete," functions it does without any fiddling with preferences. I was excited and expecting everything to work seamlessly; I came to be disappointed which astonished me.
Cons: Okay, it really acted like it was gonna make my disc, like it really wanted to make my disc; I mean, it "boosted" (normalized) the songs and faded out incomplete songs. And just when I go to burn the disc, it says the very first song is invalid or something. I switched songs, made another song first and it said the same thing. I had good media (Office Depot CD-R by no means a Brand X) and no programs except a browser running in the background. However, it did state not to have things running except that program which I felt is bulls**t. On that point alone, it isn't worth the time of day because who runs only ONE program at a time??? Anyway, it had only one chance with me and it blew it. Maybe it'll work for you . . .

Version: Acoustica MP3 CD Burner 4.11 build 121
Pros: I am in the search of an app that allows me to PRESERVE THE ORDER OF THE SONGS IN A MP3-CD; and this app has this great advantage; since Nero doesn't work for this end; neither other apps like MusicMatch that add a playlist, BUT it happens that my audio home systems doesn't recognize the order of the playlist, neither it makes it my DVD player. Acoustica MP3 CD Burner in this case do a good work, because this it adds a numeric prefix automatically to the name of the files inside MP3-CD, preserving the desired order; for this only coarse to drag the files, making of this a task extremely simple. It also has other functions as optional equalization per track, crossfading, etc...
Cons: BUT... The small only disadvantage, but significant for me, it is that although this app mantain the order of my tracks in my audio home system, and also in my DVD player; when I play MP3-CD in my DVD player, the titles of the songs are shown type MS-DOS, just by 8 characters. This is not problem of my DVD; since when I record a MP3-CD with Easy CD-DA Extractor the titles they are shown correctly with in DVD player... but in my audio home systems Easy CD-DA Extractor it doesn't preserve the order of my tracks :(
Some good other app that makes a perfect job?

"Does everything it says it will"
Pros: 1. Quick easy download/setup. (I used the free test version for the full ten days and had to buy it because I loved it. decent price.)
2. Easy to use. Drag and drop.
3. Can specify specific folders on you pc to search for music so you don't get junk in your music library.
4. Nice mix features for transition between songs.
5. Can customize each song (if you want) with graphic equalizer & fade controls.
6. Quick easy burns, no coasters.
Cons: None. I only wish it had DVD burning features.
