Version: AceFTP Freeware 3.80.2
"Best Server Friendly Freeware FTP"
Pros: I've used AceFTP for a little over a year. It was the best freeware FTP at the time and I think it's still one of the top ftp programs available. I've spent about 10 hours in the past three days looking for a replacement freeware FTP programs but all the rest are filled with bugs and adware. I recommend this programs for it's simplicity, straightforward layout, and server friendly default settings. Connect to just about any server, just put your IP address/FTP address, username and password, and that's it. You can customize your connection too.
Cons: I really like this program, and I am having a hard time finding a replacement. However, the reason I am looking for a replacement is that I need an FTP program that can let me upload files in an "Explore" type of view; where it lets me see a list of the server's main folders on the left and the content of each folder on the right. But so far, no luck.
