  Version: AceFTP Freeware 3.72

  "Installer has spyware"

  Pros: Good FTP client, as said in the review.

  Cons: TOOLBAR: VMN Toolbar, part or Alexa, needs to be intalled in order to use the FTP client. This toolbar tracks:

  -Websites viewed

  -User Names and passwords entered

  -# of times a page is visited.

  DON'T download it.

  DON'T install it.

  MAKE CONTACT DIRECTLY WITH the makers of AceFTP to ask them WHY they would include a spy-toolbar.

  I'm not posting a junk-review. It's true. Look "Alexa" and "VMN toolbar".

  Version: AceFTP Freeware 3.70.3

  "Not at all impressed"

  Pros: Fast connection and upload speed

  Cons: (1) You must register to use software

  (2) I have had problems connecting to my server while SmartFTP has no problems connecting...

  (3) Not a user-friendly interface

  (4) Pop-ups upon exiting program

  I'm not impressed. SmartFTP is MUCH better and MUCH easier to use.

  Version: AceFTP Freeware 3.72

  "Installs spyware"

  Pros: No pros.

  Cons: Installs spyware vvsn.exe and VMN toolbar to your system and leaves them there after uninstall. Also the first thing this "freeware" said was that I have 30 days left to use it.
