From ProNet Systems:
Access Database Linker will allow you and your clients to retrieve your latest access front-end and relink all the queries and tables to the backend. So next time you need to make an update to your front-end, just .zip it up and put it on your web server. The client then runs ADL (they will have a shortcut to the adl.exe file instead of their access db file) which then does all the work for you!
Download, relink and startup your client's access database. Very easy to configure, there are two files that you will use. ADLConfig.exe to configure the process and ADL.exe that the client will use to run their database.
This works on both your local network and remote networks! No need to ever have to drive to a client's site or remotely connect to manually download and relink the front-end to the backend.
This also has the option to configure email alerts if an update fails for some reason. I have been using this for well over a year on my own projects (which has saved me a ton of time) without any problems.
Please read the manual and watch the videos. Please email me with any questions. Nothing to lose, so save yourself alot of time and try this out! :)
