"The PIM for secretive people???"
Version: AbsolutePrivacy 2.6
Pros
With a name like that, anyone looking at your computer will think you've got something to hide - but at least the desktop icon can be renamed. It has virtually every feature I was looking for in a PIM.
Cons
Must enter a password to open it, with no option. There's more delay by it showing Tips at startup, even though I unticked the option. It always opens on a minimized home page, no option, and then you've got to click on Calendar or whatever you want.
Summary
I don't want the hassle of having to log in any time I want to make a quick note in Memo. There is no colour option for Events . You have to highlight an email address and then right-click on it to send mail, which is a bit fiddly. Finally, there doesn't appear to be any support.

"Great Software, until it crashes"
Version: AbsolutePrivacy 2.6
Pros
AbsolutePrivacy ties together a number of different areas of private information, with a relatively clean, easy to understand interface. It's on-the-fly encryption scheme is interesting, and appears powerful.
Cons
Support is virtually nonexistant. The software crashed on me, and my file (even the backups) is not accessable. Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't help. No response from Cryptobase Group, after several attempts. Result: My data is lost, some of which I don't have in other locations after becoming (apparently too-)comfortable with the software.

"Great easy to use PIM with diary and password protection..."
Version: AbsolutePrivacy 2.6
Pros
The program has many great features in one easy to use program. Even has a personal daily Diary which some PIM don't have.
Cons
I was mainly looking for a personal encrypted diary. This program can do it, but the diary entry window was too small for what I was looking for, and I really didn't need some of the other features, since my main reason for using it would be the daily diary.
