Version: AVS Video Converter 6.3.2.370
"BAD! MISLEADING! AVOID! SCAM ARTISTS!"
Pros: I'm rid of it.
Cons: Totally disingenuious and misleading in the promotional information in order to get a foothold in your computer!
Summary: These miserable scamming buggers promise that the software contains no malware. In fact, it's chock full of auto-installing update programs and call-home junk. The malware just isn't third party - it's only thier own! Additionally, though you may search their promo information to try to determine if the software is offered for free, is a demo, or is only offered for sale, they intentionally avoid any mention of "trials" or "evaluations" until you discover the truth once the product is installed (with multiple add-on programs installed at the same time) and already beginning it's updates and communications with AVS without your knowledge!! I Hate underhanded software companies!

This is the first time I have heard automatic program registration, free updating and upgrading regerred to as "malware"! The are no pop-ups, ads, or intrusive programs carried to your computer by the AVS4YOU automatic features in my extensive use of most of their excellent programs. Use Google or the like to find the meaning of "malware".
