Summary
Split my 400MB out of 770MB into a 9GB file. The splitting process is completed by 1/3 only.
The most rubbish software that I have seen. -

The free part only splits and saves the first half of your avi or only the first 60 seconds of the selected part. Really fast though if you only want half a film!!

It´s a lie that you can try it free. It only allows you one minute of video (avi) to try, and i can only think that´s because the product is so bad they don´t want us to try it.

i think the output quality was not bad, but vdub mp3 freeze was my choice as it's free and has better quality.
