I like the product but will only use it if I can continue using the free version for now I will be deciding on what one I want to use as my primary protection and buying the entire system but wish to see all of them in action.

Its a free service and AVG used to provide solid anti-virus and more.
Cons
Update manager can never connect to update the program. I am frankly appalled that this free version is being recommended by anyone. AVG should fix thiese issues and re-launch a better version. Not worth my time anymore to use AVG.
Summary
Update manager is continously inoperable and the AVG website runs poorly as well. I have used several other free antivirus programs and never experienced these types of problems. I sincerely believe this newer version is about the worst on the market.

Yesterday (October 14, 2008) AVG took out my Zonealarm because they said it had a Trojan. (I see they had just updated on this type of trojan) Anyway, today I have no firewall.

AVG is a great antivirus software but they have to stop detecting zonealarm as a Virus/Trojan.
