Pros: You do not have to spend any money for software licenses.
It's great to find a fully featured software that doesn't cost.

Version: AVG Anti-Virus 9.0.700
"Not Sure how much improved this version is."
Pros: I installed this over the previous paid version I have been using. I have been a AVG paid edition user for four+ years. Easy install and looks to be more user friendly.
Cons: I had to remove the free Zone Alarm because AVG says their is a possible conflict and I also notice that Windows Defender gets shut off after I reboot which never happened before.
Summary: The jury is still out on how much improved this version is, but I like AVG customer service which is first rate. Their email support is excellent which is why I don't mind paying a few bucks for their programs. After a month I will update this review... read more

"AVG reports an OLE conflict during install"
Pros: Can't install
Cons: Ole is a required file for Outlook so this is a conflict I can't afford
