Version: AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 8.0.138
"Not Bad"
Pros: finnally giving Realtime Protection, at least thats what they say. Didnt block clickster. Still doing better than the last one. Im gonna stick to my Avast, better to me in every way compared to AVG. The people that follow my reviews know that Im not lying.
Cons: Never trusted the software again after it didnt pick up 5 virusses in a friends PC that Avast did pick up. Thats pretty much why I like that prog more. Anyway Later People.

Just finished uninstalling avg and installing avast........
Right now I'm doing a manual scan.....
How do I know when the system is on? -
AVG is first class
however I had to exit programme because I don't have a credit card

Nope, no false positives, i've only had 1 or 2 this whole year with avast on the highest protection level -
The reason that AVG didn't pick up those 5 viruses is because Avast has a LOT of false positives. I counted DOZENS with Avast, and yet none with AVG, Kaspersky and NOD32 (aka the best AV app).

that is true! anybody who tries avast once will never leave it for a piece of c-r-a-p like this
