I love it speed and its thoroughness

However, I am having a problem with it with my new Vista. I am always getting an interactive services dialog detection and when I ask it to show me the message it is always AVG. I can't get rid of this. It is very annoying. What can I do. It suggested that I uninstall AVG and reinstall for Vista but I still get the dialog box. HELP!!

I'm glad they still do Win98, as am an Old cogger who still loves 98
I just wish there was a great firewall for 98 available
I use to use Pc-Cillin, but switched to AVG 5 years ago, when AVG found stuff trend didn't, it has caught a lot of trojans a viruses for me

Enjoyed this software as a free anti-virus solution for my XP machine.
Cons
Upon installing to Vista I began to get serious errors that would crash (re: blue screen) the machine. After a few attempts to diagnose the problem I realized the crashes were directly tied to AVG attempting to run a nightly scan after an attempted auto update failed. Had to remove AVG and find another anti-virus solution. The problem hasn't happened in the month or so since I removed AVG.
