"Has handled all problems, so far"
Pros: Seems to catch all likely problem files and take the bad ones out of circulation.
Cons: Takes too long to scan, but I probably am giving it too mcuh to do - just need to clean out excess old files or move them from the scan area.

"I experienced some problems in installing v 9.0.704"
Pros: It's too soon to provided an opinion
Cons: Having experienced installation problems, I had to uninstall my "older" version,go to OldApps.com, install an 8 version, and allow AVG to update my older version, which I "think" overcame the problem.
Summary: AVG has proved to be a very effective "free" AV Product and appears to meet most of the criteria we require as "home users". read more

"No good - program will not install."
Pros: There are none and theis program will not install.
Cons: program will not install.
Summary: Have tried 7 times to download and get installation failed - MSVC redistributables installation failed. read more
