    "You better hope you've got a good computer"

    Pros

    AVG free's good things it is good in tracking viruses. For a free antivirus, it's detection rate is exceeding the limits.

    Cons

    The installation is horrible. It took me 10 minutes to install, and turned my internet down and wasted 20 more minutes of my life. It pushed my computer to it's knees. I needed to reboot 4 times to uninstall it, and i had to SAFE MODE my computer to delete it. Sometimes it updates once you start your computer, and makes my internet take longer to start.

    Summary

    If you think with 400 million people downloading it means it's the best free one out there, take a second thought about downloading. You better hope your computer is fast and furious to stay of it's legs.
