For a free product that works better then some of the ones that I've had to pay for , AVG is by far the best for the price . I have had no viruses , trojens etc ,etc since using AVG .

Takes forever to load, slows done nearly all my apps, constantley drops internet connection, and on, and on and on! Even disallowed Microsoft Essential downloads. JUNK. Don't waste your time trying it!

Sets itself as default search provider on all browsers without user approval.
Refuses to be removed.
If you wish to install a browser hijacker with your own hands go on. -

Tried to uninstall from my wife's machine. Still trying. Everytime I think I've gotten it completely out, it returns. Tried the AVG site for a special method of uninstalling - still there. Worse than an actual virus

Cons
No support on free version. Paid Pro version has email support only, and can take days to resolve an urgent issue.
Summary
Stick with the free version if it works for you. I would not spend $2 for the Pro version.

"Efficient and easy"

Pros
Quick download and faster search, like the safety feature. Scanning is fast and easy. I had AVG years ago when I purchased new laptop Kapersky was installed free for a year, so I switched back. Much better than old version.
Cons
The only thing I don't like is the duplication on the toolbar. I have my toolbar all set up and AVG installed its own. So I had to personalize.
