    "Do not download!"

    March 30, 2014  |   By Weatherman37

    Version: ARO 2013 9.0

    Pros

    None, really.

    Cons

After downloading ARO 2013, Malwarebytes detected that the program was malicious.

    Summary

Do not download this program, it is not safe to use. I don't know why Cnet rated ARO so highly.

    "Luckily, I got a refund"

    December 1, 2013  |   By Tristanovich

    Version: ARO 2013 9.0

    Pros

Niet. I can't think of any.

    Cons

Interfered with Best Crypt, corrupts Key Generator. Had to re-install Best Crypt every time I wanted to use it. WORSE yet, Aro deleted ALL of my Windows Live emails! I am now stuck
having to search an orphaned folder of .eml files
if I need to retrieve an email.

    Summary

Tech Support wasn't supportive, but at least there is a Refund option and I asked them for one. They complied.

Just about every review here is bad and I agree with most that CNET can no longer be trusted. How many more bad reviews will it take for them to come to their senses? They
are contributing to messing up people's computers.

Final comment: Always research a product's reviews before downloading.

    "I don't trust them"

    October 20, 2013  |   By keneaise

    Version: ARO 2013 9.0

    Pros

Fast, easy install, Easy navigation and features.

    Cons

I don't trust them. I cleaned my computer 3 times with Geek Tech and 3 more times with PC Tools Performance toolkit before running the Trial version of their software. They claim to have found close to 3,000 errors. There is just no way I can accept this as being valid. It strikes me as simply an over inflated sales gimmick to get customers to buy their product.

    Summary

    Don't buy it.

    Cons

ARO 2013: SLOWS DOWN YOUR COMPUTER LIKE NO OTHER

    Summary

"Nothing but a scam, this is worthless junk, BEWARE!!"

    August 24, 2013  |   By seabow2

    Version: ARO 2013 9.0

    Pros

There is nothing good to say.

    Cons

Con is the appropriate word, this is nothing but a con. It is positioned just before the download that you really want; it is nothing but a con.

    Summary

In a nutshell, they take advantage of you if you are not paying attention. I was looking for Hitman Pro and the link for this was only inches away which really deceived me. I called them and some rookie tried to sell me on spending more money for a PC cleaning. This is a scam and a Con.

"RIPOFF/misleading advertising by ARO 2013 on CNET!"

    July 27, 2013  |   By LAFrustrated

    Version: ARO 2013 9.0

    Pros

The company that makes ARO 2013 posts advertisements on CNET with a green download button that makes you think you're buying the product on the page you're looking at, and it misleadingly gets you to buy their product. When you try to call them, you're giving an outside tech support company that furthers the lie by trying to selling you MORE expensive products and services. When you try to call the company that makes ARO 2013, there is no number to call.

RIPOFF, RIPOFF, RIPOFF. CNET should prohibit their advertising until they stop this misleading practice.
