    "Scamware....STAY AWAY"

    November 15, 2012  |   By timh111

    Version: ARO 2012 8.0.12.0

    Pros

    ABSOLUTELY NONE!!!!

    Cons

    False Advertising.

    Summary

The add on CNET was that the program was free. Downloaded and ran. Found (supposedly) over 1000 errors. Clicked to fix them and received message that it would only "Fix" 100 of my issues (Remove Temp files) and I would have to buy the program to remove the rest. What is happening with CNET??? They USED to be reputable. Now they bundle more crapware into their downloads than any other site I go to!!!!

"Terrible - Installed on it's own."

    October 28, 2012  |   By ITProTokyo

    Version: ARO 2012 8.0.12.0

    Pros

None that I could find in the very short time that it installed itself on my computer.

    Cons

    Installed itself without prompting user.

    Summary

I installed the weather channel app and then this ARO 2012 product started scanning. I cancelled the scan then ran AUTORUNS. It had installed and set itself to run on start up. Very shady software. Shame on ARO 2012 and weatherchannel.com for working with such a shady company.

    "Suddenly appeared"

    August 24, 2012  |   By pgecils

    Version: ARO 2012 8.0.12.0

    Pros

    None I know of.

    Cons

This suddenly appeared on my desktop without my installing or even downloading it. To me, that is a definition of malware. I'm not sure if working with some other product did this, but it is a terrible way to do business. I'm not even trying it (especially after reading several reviews).

    Summary

I am very unhappy with this intrusion.

"Got it for free by playing slots for free"

    August 8, 2012  |   By Squibby2112

    Version: ARO 2012 8.0.12.0

    Pros

seems to be working well, malware says everything is fine, but this is the "paid for version"

    Cons

I think they closed the gap on this exploit by requiring you to download app onto phone. :(

    Summary

    Don't download the free version.

    "ARO 2012 Very Impressive"

    August 6, 2012  |   By AndreTrindade

    Version: ARO 2012 8.0.12.0

    Pros

Great User interface simple and nice
It does what there website says, it improves your pc speed to a noch.
I really like the fact that when i was able to test other type of registry softwares(like Registry reviver, Uniblue registry booster) i was in fact impressed with them, till today..
When i saw this in Top Ten Reviews this software i thought "let me try it", well i notice that this software it's really good at speeding up your computer, this isn't lies or bull****,if you have the paid version you will see this software will help your computer a lot, even deleting temporary files(something i wasn't expecting)
In general i think this is the best choice for a registry cleaner/repair for your computer..

    Cons

    Absolutely none.

    Summary

    Buy the software.
    You won't regret.

"Scan process report errors and stop - CSR00016167"

    August 3, 2012  |   By engli

    Version: ARO 2012 8.0.12.0

    Pros

I can't present any "Pros" because:

For the first time I have problems with "ARO software".
I use ARO2011 with very good results on Windows XP or Windows 7, both Professional versions.
ARO2012 don't work on my computer correctely.

    Cons

I start ARO2012 with "Optimization" and results was:
    1 - During "scan process" report a lot of "errors";
    2 - Then "stop" to work and window of ARO2012 disappear from monitor and don't came back;
3 - And never restart the computer.

I report this information to Sammsoft support, and the answer was:
"It sounds like you could have other problems with your computer that is not allowing ARO2012 to comple the removal of the errors. Please try uninstalling and then rinstalling ARO2012."

Because I will try to do this before, and answer:
"Yes I was made this and problem is the same. I try again ARO2011 and it is running without any problem."

    Sammsoft Replied was:
"Would you like a refund then on the ARO2012? Something sounds like it is interfering."

    Summary

    My answer was:

"No. I only want that ARO2012 work properly. I only think to refund them if you don't have solution to the related problem. I never expend my time to update software only to refund them."

    Sammsoft Replied was:
"We are sorry our program were not effective for you. We refunded your order and sent you a separate email confirmation.

    Comment replied to Sammsoft:
From 2008 until now I use your products, why you close your support by this way?
I never talk about refund only ask you for support.

    My order ID 500439678.

"Scammers!DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!!"

    July 31, 2012  |   By bg-bruce

    Version: ARO 2012 8.0.12.0

    Pros

None. They make a great pitch, but this software is JUNK & difficult to uninstall.

    Cons

On top of being a rip-off, the program hides in the registry & is difficult to get rid of. I had to use Revo Uninstaller (which worked great). The directory path it lists is false and a sure sign of a scam in my opinion.

    Summary

Do not download ARO products unless you like being bothered at every start-up to buy this useless crap.
