AOL 9.7 Nice graphics colors etc, unique email features. AIM . Best desktop on the market.Yuo can check how many new messages you got in 7 different emails at once all you need is one click,if you got a contract with them -> aol router.
Cons
You have to reinstall it every 8 months.
Summary
I have been with AOL since 2001. they are not anymore on top of the list, but the service is still consistent.
First time installation READ carefully:
1) save aol 9.7 on a disk
2) install it from a disk disabling your antivirus. -

Been with AOL since the beginning and too much trouble to change provider at this point. Easy to use when working well in previous versions.
Cons
Takes up too many KB when loaded and doesn't play well with other programs.
Summary
Strongly considering switching providers after all the years of using it.

seems to me im having trouble with my email, i went to look at the 2012 movie reviews on aol''s welcome (home) screen and the page came up (after waiting) longer than usual and it was all code. reloaded and got some pictures and the rest, yep, all code..

not much to say, maybe the released it to early, still got some buggies to work out..
