"UNSUPPORTED"
Version: ALPass 2.8
Pros
Good password management - two years ago
Cons
Incompatible with IE8 and no plans to support it. This is essentially an unsupported product since they came out with ALToolbar as a kludgy substitute
Summary
When incompatibility with IE8 was identified in 2008, first response was "we're working on it." Then, "We have several other projects," followed by "We have AL Toolbar", and finally, "There will be no upgrade for reasons we can't discuss." This product is DOA.

"Works good once you cover all bases..."
Version: ALPass 2.8
Pros
It has a drag and drop for sites that it can't identify. All you have to do is manually enter the info once then when you visit and it doesn't respond, click on the icon, choose the info from it's box then drag'n drop.
Cons
It only works on site logins, there are no other options (such as application info).
Summary
Be as it may, this little program is a keeper.. It does the same thing that gator once did but without the constant nag to buy, It doesn't contain any spy/ malware. I use it daily as it saves me from entering my numerous email accounts all the time and it's safely encrypted. Most important, it's free! With a small section at the bottom for ads that neither nags nor irritates, I say ' Go for it '..
Have been using this gadget for a few months now and no, it does not work with IE8 (automatically) you have to manually drag 'n drop into the spaces (in opera and mozilla even that doesn't work altogether). Still it beats having to retype everytime you visit and.. isn't that the point?
