Version: AISBackup 2.7 build 348
"Works great, so many features - not for casual user"
Pros: Can backup to pretty much anything! USB hard drives, tape, FTP, LAN, CD, DVD etc.!
Stores data in Windows readable ZIP format, no need to run the restore routine if you just need to yank a file out of the zip archive - nice!Cons: So many options, even for me a power user it can be daunting without reading the help files... however, most of the defaults are just fine and it's easy to do simple backups.
Summary: Once you get it set up and configured it can be set to auto-pilot.
The FTP feature should be a winner for companies who have people in the field with laptops etc. - they can set it up and each night it can upload backups to a central server for safe keeping.
