  "okay but needs a change"

  Pros: really nice interface and fast chats

  Cons: annoying advertisements that really bother me

  Summary: good program but it would be much better if the advertisements were gone. you can actually get rid of the advertisements for aim by watching this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F69ghd1c0xI read more

  "Does what it needs to."

  Pros: it's the same good ol' AIM I've grown up with, but as newer versions come up, the interface gets a slight facelift. They finally figured out tabbed IMs better, after several different attempted styles. Nothing new or radical, but works nicely.

  Cons: AIM seems to be the only program for Windows 7 that doesn't all for the WIN + [Direction] for placement, or the simple drag-to-the-side-to-dock option.
  
  What's up with that?
  
  And general grievance, but why has everyone stopped using AIM for FB chat?

  Summary: It's what I would hope it would be. Just very frustrating to not see anyone else using it, when it is exponentially more stable, user-friendly, and generally functional than FaceBook Chat. read more
