"Better than nothing"
Version: ACDSee 14 14.0.110.0
Pros
This software was a good choise in the 90s. Now on you could find easier and better free software.
Cons
Why had this company separated the software in 3 pieces (Photomanager, Photo Editor and Photo Slate), the answer is that will be much more expensive for you. Adobe Photoshop Essentials is lightyears better than this softwares together
Summary
Don't buy it, it is unstable och stupid to register.
And it is not an easy one to work with. -
"Its free, easy to use, safe and... free"
Version: ACDSee 14 12.0.344
Pros
Easy to figure out, quick to install, no problems for me and does what it says it will do
Cons
UI/Design looks more promising than features/product endgame. I don't remember exactly why I was disappointed. It looks promising till you realize there is key feature that got shafted. It's the apps equivalent of blue balls ( so im told)
Summary
It has potential and the reason I tried it out was because I wanted a quick way of batch editing, but in the end, I ended up going back to photoshop, picasa and acd to cover all the repetitious actions of my project.

"the best photo management software."
Version: ACDSee 14 12.0.344

-
"a disaster"
Version: ACDSee 14 12.0.344
Pros
none for cnet
Cons
cnet has changed and it shows available updates for every program. There is no advice as to what the changes are or a link to the program's update page. It attempted to update 2 programs with a charge and I almost lost the installed free ones.
Summary
No thanks cnet for putting out such a lousy program.
