The A9 toolbar is a great tool for sales/bus dev professionals who use the web for prospecting and research purposes. Besides relevant search results, you get a wealth of information by clicking on the "site stats" button. This gives you a site snapshot (description, website, site traffic stats, contact information) and a great feature called "People who visited this page, also visit:", which shows you a list of other sites that are visited by people who visit the site you're searching on. I use this ALL THE TIME for competitive analysis and a lead source.

the A9 toolbar and website are helping to revolutionize the way that web users can organize and utilize search data, and better yet, access that data from any PC anywhere. server-side bookmarks and persistent search histories, combined with the breadth of info you can get from the A9 site are quickly encouraging me to make this my search engine of choice. the power of google web and image search, excellent data from amazon and imdb, gurunet...this is killer.

A9 is great because it saves your search history, so you don't have to completely start a new search over if you get sidetracked. It's also cool that you can see images, and that general web results are separated out from books, movies, and general reference material on whatever you're searching for. This morning I was trying to get info for an upcoming trip to Whistler (ski resort in Canada) and not only did I get relevant results regarding the resort, I also got pictures of the ski runs that verify the snow reports. Very cool. Secret bonus - you get a discount on Amazon purchases when you use A9 regularly.
