"It's fantastic, it's like a cheat code for designers."

- Simple controls. Left click to change direction and right click to get rid of it.
- Measures accurately and even has a little dialogue to tell you the exact measurement.
- Automatically extends and retracts with the mouse meaning it's never in your way when you're measuring.Cons
- Does not allow diagonal measuring.
- Although they have it here as free, they fail to tell you that the free version has an annoying pop-up every time you open it, and it waits till you're absolutely addicted to it before it starts appearing.Summary
As a web and graphic designer, this tool has saved me loads of time. I can resize images to the perfect dimensions first time everytime, I can measure up other websites quickly and efficiently when doing my research and a whole load of other things. I just simply put this tool on my quick launch and I've got an instant handy ruler available anytime. Although I did complain about the annoying pop-up, I'm thinking of getting the paid version because its only around £3 and totally worth it.

This ruler is simple and easy to use. I like that there are two varieties - a transparent and regular. You can modify size, color, and put them anywhere in any program. I love using it for work in spreadsheets and databases.
