Basically a souped-up version of Windows' built-in calculator, A Calc doesn't break much new ground but offers a solid set of tools. The default interface is rather bland, but you can jazz it up by changing the background color and pattern. The application also lets you disable its default keyboard sound and specify the number of decimal places to display. You'll find all functions you'd expect from a scientific calculator, such as the ability to determine square roots, sines, cosines, and tangents. It also introduces utilities for converting measurements and running statistic calculations. The application's main advantage over the built-in Windows utility is it lets you edit entered operations to quickly recalculate equations with new data. If you need a more-detailed calculator than the one offered by Windows, A Calc includes some useful features.Publisher's description
