  "Not so good"

  Pros

  -Easy to use
  -Good and different scanning options (heuristic, etc)

  Cons

  -Long annoying install that asks you to also install search and toolbar junk and almost messed up my browser trying to do so, then takes a bit of time after to update the program and download definitions
  -I downloaded this specifically to get rid of adware/malware junk on my comp. but it only found a couple of cookies and that's it, Norton found Alot more stuff, so it's not that good as a virus scanner
  -Soo Slooow to scan, took upwards of 5hrs to complete scan, Norton only took an hr or 2
  -annoying pop-ups saying this was found, or just simply that I'm protected by it
  -hard to uninstall, couldn't fully uninstall from programs list on computer, had to find uninstall file and uninstall it w/ that, and that was slow too

  Summary

  Overall Norton is better, this doesn't find everything and it does it incredibly slowly and annoyingly, definitely not recommended.

  Thank you for your post and I am sorry you encountered these issues. When Ad-Aware is installed alongside another antivirus software the installer will take a bit longer as it will need to configure itself to ensure that there are no compatibility issues.
  When you run a full scan for the first time this can definitely take a while, with the improved cached scanning your second full scan would have taken 1/8 of the time, as this is how the software has been designed. The pop-ups can be disabled through the windows notification center.
