Pros
Scans my computer for all viruses, worms, trojans, etc. Lists them all so you can see what they are, where they came from, (what program from the internet they came on too if you downloaded something you thought was safe like "My Web Search" toolbar), lets you choose which one(s) or all of them to delete, etc. Very thorough. Free. Does a better job removing viruses than many of the programs available that you have to buy in order to use, and I am currently using the free trial download of this Malwarebytes.
Cons
This is my third time using it and I have yet to find something I don't like about it. Love it.
Summary
If you are in need of a safe virus/trojan/worm/malware/etc removal program, this is the one to go with. Try the free download and then upgrade to the pro version when you can or if you can't buy a removal program due to finances, continue with the free version as it offers plenty of protection to hold you over. Another great download available for free here on CNET is Super Anti-Spyware. Similar to Malwarebytes and also just as good. These two downloads combined with free downloads of AVG keep your computer just as protected if not more so than if you had Norton or McAfee only at a fraction of the price, or for free. Definitely worth using. I use my computer daily for my business online and need my computer to be up and running smoothly. Malwarebytes,Super Anti-Spyware, and AVG Anti-Virus all work together quite nicely and keep my computer free of all problems. It's great!!!!
