  Pros

  still good for various alerts.

  Cons

  nto sure what they mean sometimes.

  Summary

  these reviews have rankings. but you cannot find 1 place where all rankings are together and updated with the latest reviews so that they are true and not reflecting older reviews.
  hard to find which is no 1 if you have to trawl through each software.
  not sure if the rankings are current as they have different dates of review.
  downloads should have a page I can customise as eg
  windows7 , free, software in editors ranking order, with all subcategories so that I need not do this each time I check out software.
  2. all editor rankings should be easily shown on 1 page by category and current so i can always pick the best one and turf the earlier ones on my PC.
  3. obsolete editor reviews should be marked and linked to current reviews clearly. - preferably archived.
  so we only have current software with current reviews with links if needed to archive.
  4. hard to assess 5* against obsolete rankings of say 17 out of 254, and unable to find no 1 except by going through all software 1 by 1, if it is really still accurate.
  5. cannot post this anywhere else on your site.
  no contact email.
  6. I want to come to cnet and be sure I have the top products ranked in real time so that i can pick one or two sure in the knowledge that they are really the top reviewed software.
  7. different antivirus software ratings for 2012 confuse me as to which is correct. eg PC Mag and ZDNet conflict with cnet though same reviewer
