    "Installed Malware"

    Free with all the malware

    Cons

    Installed "Claro' and 3 other unwanted programs. Claro changed and redirected my browser without my permission. The Spybot installer installed programs which I SPECIFICALLY said I did NOT want installed by unchecking the boxes.

    Summary

    I only gave 1/2 a star because it wouldn't let me post a reply without the desired rating of "0". Spybot used to be the best, but something has changed and now it's becoming part of the problem.

    You do not have to download any other programs when using c.net.The downloader gives you the option of loading or not loading these programs.Slow down a moment,and read what`s in front of you BEFORE you download the program of choice.Don`t be a fat-head!

    The original Spybot S&D has no other programs, PUPs, viruses, or Trojans attached to it. I always do a direct download from CNet so I do not get that extra crap they want to stick you with when you use their download manager. You have to be signed in to use the direct download.
