  "Never worked, and messed up my Registry."

  Never worked, Froze up Windows 7 every time I tried to run it., hard as heck to completely uninstall and breaks other video playing software. Oh yeah, it also munched a bunch of my registry keys.

  Summary

  I downloaded the free trial version of this software to use as a basic BluRay Disc player. Installation seemed to go fine. No errors during install. But the program froze up Windows 7 when I tried to run it. After trying to uninstall and reinstall several times, I finally contacted tech support via email. Their first response was basically just re-download and then reinstall it. This had no effect. And when I went to uninstall the newly downloaded copy to try a second time, it damaged my registry. Luckily I had a fairly recent restore point. So After restoring Windows 7, I contacted them and told them what happened. Their reply was to tell me to go buy the full version and that would fix my issues... Can we say BAIT and SWITCH boys and girls? Their support was the absolute worst I have ever seen in my many years working with computers as far back as the Altair. I am just going to go out and get Nero 10. At least Ahead software tries it's best to fix issues... I advise everyone to avoid this package. It's not worth the risk to your system registry when there are better packages out there in the same price range...
