"Did not work, buggy program, NOT FREE - 15 min limit!!!"

    February 9, 2010  |   By flanjerka

Very sleek design. Converts (supposedly, since it didn't work) to many formats.

Don't get it. It's NOT free and doesn't work. The FULL version is somewhere between $50 and $60 USD, but who knows if that one works... I hate when companies LIE about free software and Cnet doesn't properly moderate them. There is a 15 minute limit to the conversion in the "free" version. I was trying to rip a short homemade DVD to ANY format and the stupid program NEVER FINISHED! Once I "open" the DVD, it scans the video I want, then gets to the end and stops. NOTHING HAPPENS! If I try to click on the "convert" button or try to do anything else, I get the broken English message: "It is fast forwarding to main movie, so you could not start conversion now!" BRILLIANT programming, Mr. Chinese guy.
