"Is there a point?"
who knows? there's nothing to download
Well, it's Outlook, after all. The only reason I want/need it is to sync mobile devices as a backup (I keep Outlook divorced from the web by firewall, and use other software for eMail).
When you attempt to download, CNet xfers you to the Microsoft Office Online and Office Marketplace, with no obvious direction to go... When you go to Office 2003, and select Outlook 2003, you get links to "Add-ins" and "Updates" -- and Updates tells you to use Office Update to update your product! Why is this even here?
